Physical challenge: Hilly

The course covers the side and the top of Ladhope Hill and has a couple of steep inclines. However, once at the top, the fantastic views of the Border hills and valleys make one forget the climb.

1st 170yds. This downhill par 3 calls for immediate accuracy off the tee with out of bounds down the left side and two bunkers guarding the green.

Superb views of Galashiels and surrounding countryside can be seen from the clubhouse. Ladies and gents locker rooms have showers and toilets. The lounge area is roomy with a double-sided bar,

From the centre of Galashiels take A7 for Edinburgh. Where the road splits for Hawick and Edinburgh, continue towards Edinburgh for 300 yds. As you reach the Ladhope Inn take right turn signposted to the Golf Course. Follow markings up the hill to course.
