Bird watching
The finest birdwatching in Scotland is to be found along the Berwickshire Coast, and Burnmouth, with its combination of fields, steep cliffs and rocky islets, hosts an astonishing variety of birds - you may find that you never need go far from White Craggs!
Further to the north and 2.5 km offshore lies Bass Rock, home to 70,000 gannets and countless other seabirds, including puffins. Bass Rock is one of the largest gannet colonies in the World.
If you turn inland, the hills and lakes of the Borders are home to an ever changing cast of birdlife - all the sites that we have listed are within an easy drive from White Craggs.
